Gatcombe Park is the home of HRH the Princess Royal and Past Master Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence. Gatcombe Horse Trials has been running on this magnificent estate for the past 35 years.
A one day event normally requires each horse and rider combination to complete all three phases of the event – dressage, show jumping and cross country in one day. Due to the number of competitors at this event, some competitors will do dressage one day and show jumping and cross country on the next.
The Coachmakers are privileged to be offered two tables (20 people) in the sponsors’ and VIP marquee that has a prime position at the heart of the event with excellent views and close to all facilities. There are also TV screens keeping us abreast with events on the course. Coachmakers have the opportunity to meet the people involved in putting on this prestigious event.

This event is open to Liverymen and friends.
Timetable
From 9:30am onwards arrive at will at the arena-side event hospitality marquee for tea, coffee and pastries
10.30am Cross country starts (Land Rover tours around the course are available all day)
12.45pm Champagne reception and talk given by Captain Mark Philips, Zara Tindall and Peter Phillips
1.00pm Buffet luncheon with wine
4:00pm Afternoon tea
5:00pm Prize-giving
Timings will be confirmed before the event
Price: £230 per person including hospitality facilities for use throughout the day, all food and beverages including wine, admission badges, forward car parking, an official competition programme
Tickets and car park passes will be sent by post at least one week prior to the event
Transport: The only practical way to travel is by car.
