Visit to Donington Park
Coachmakers and their guests can enjoy a rare and fascinating chance to get behind the scenes at an international motorsport venue, experience an active pitlane on a track day, visit the race control, and be taken on an extended track tour with expert guidance.
After lunch, we visit the world headquarters of Formula E, the all-new electric racing series, and see the Donington Grand Prix Collection, with its world-renowned display of Formula One cars of many eras, including present day examples from Williams, Red Bull, Force India and McLaren.
Donington’s Museum is also home to the unique machinery of the Wheatcroft Military Collection, with its display of rare World War Two fighting vehicles, immaculately restored to working order.
Your tour will be led by Liveryman Christopher Tate, who is Managing Director of Donington Park.
By train to East Midlands Parkway, 85 minutes from London St Pancras, and you will be collected by a shuttle bus (just 10 minutes from Donington Park).
OR: By car - Donington Park is located just off the M1 via Junction 23A, next to East Midlands Airport - take the A453 to the main gate - sat nav to DE74 2RP
11.30-13.00: Circuit visit: including pits, paddock and track tour, followed by buffet lunch in the Media Centre overlooking the track
13.45-14.30: Formula E visit to inspect a FE race car and see the race series headquarters
14.45-15.45: View Grand Prix and military collections accompanied by a knowledgeable guide, or you may take your own tour of this unique collection
16.00: tea and departure – shuttle service back to the rail station
The cost includes coffee on arrival, shuttle bus for those arriving by train, all tours, museum access and lunch.

Please indicate dietary requirements and whether you will be traveling by train from London departing at 09.26 so the shuttle service can meet you; ETA East Mids Parkway is at 10.50. The return train departs at 16.41.
