Join us for the Commandant’s Parade – Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst

The Master invites you to join her to spectate at the Commandant’s Parade at the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst on Wednesday 7th August.

The Sovereign’s Parade marks the end of an Officer Cadet’s time at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, as they are commissioned into the British Army and many overseas armies. This special parade is a closed event for friends and family of those successfully commissioning from the 44-week course and takes place three times a year.

However, two days beforehand, the Academy hosts a full rehearsal, the Commandant’s Parade. Members of the public can attend this parade exclusively through the Sandhurst Trust. Your Livery Committee has secured 24 seats for you and your friends and families at this parade. The event information can be found here Commandants Parade | Sandhurst Trust.

Entry to the Academy is via the College Town Gate. The parade ‘steps off’ at 11.00, but all guests are to be seated no later than 10.35, expected finish time is around 12.15. Dress code: smart casual, with sports jackets, blazers or suits for men. All guests will need a photographic ID on the day.

We will then travel to Bluebells Restaurant (bluebells-restaurant.co.uk) in Sunningdale, a short 15-minute drive north up the A30 for lunch. Menu will be provided in advance for pre-event selection, this will be at the attendees’ own cost.
